Neverland Ranch; You Have Been Dismissed

Neverland Ranch we all wanted to believe in your smoke and mirrors. We all wanted to believe in your innocence and sincerity. When you were bought by the King of Pop in 1988 your 2,800 acres were built into a glorious amusement park, zoo and fantasy land. We all wanted to go. You made us believe in you. You made MIchael Jackson happy and that made us happy. You let thousands of children through your gates to entertain them and keep them smiling.

But if you build a fake facade it will crumble and crumble you did. You let boys sleep over when you knew you shouldn’t. You looked the other way when you knew the King of Pop was slipping. In 2003 you let cameras onto your land for a television special with Martin Bashir and we saw Michael and you on a fast decline that was caught on camera. He climbed your trees during the interview believing he was in never, never land but what the cameras caught on camera showed that wasn’t true.

In times of trouble Michael abandoned you and left you to fall apart. Empty and neglected you waited for his return to return you to your former glory. The King of Pop left you to fall apart while he fell apart elsewhere. Now the King of Pop has left you go for good, for 35 million he has turned his back on you and walked away, never to return.
