I don’t get why half of the arguments in defense of Lady Gaga are:

1) Stop talking about someone you don’t know
-Do you know her? Do you not talk about any person in the public figure that you haven’t personally gotten to know before? Many fans of Lady Gaga get personally defensive for her, and I think it’s because people like to like something “weird” and still be on the side of the majority. Criticism of Lady Gaga is not only in the minority because many people are afraid to say something against her, but it’s also a normal part of any public figure’s image.

2) She’s better than you are
-How do you know? She might be better than creating an image than any one else out there, but that’s it. Go read Billboard’s article on Rob Fusari dishing on Lady Gaga: He talks specifically how she changed her style and music tastes to sell into the pop world, now treats him poorly as if he never existed (forget the fact that he made her first album and subsequent career), and even talks about how she and other artists (Beyonce) claim falsely to have written songs themselves or that their inspiration is their own because that is what SELLS music.

3) She’s more original than you/Stop hating someone because they’re different.
-Actually, most of her criticism is that she ISN’T different and that, combined with the fact her music is forumlaic pop music WRITTEN BY OTHERS (Lyric-writing and music-writing are not the same thing, and Gaga really only has a few lines in every song that just repeat… AND Rob Fusari is starting to hint at his frustration with Lady Gaga taking credit for his writing), she simply shouldn’t have the immense amount of attention that she is. There is nothing that sets her above other popstars aside from the fact she has a good PR team.

She’s average. She’s doing what anyone has to do in the pop industry. She is NOT original and her claims of being a real artist are starting to disintegrate.

think it´s good to wear a helmet and not act like we own the streets. we should also be very aware of pedestrians and actualy care for them, for that they are using the most natural way of transport. as well drivers should look after cyclists. I think your position is reactionary and stupid, you ain´t doing no good for no one, even yourself, threatening cycists on the web, so cowardly. no law forbides to ride them and who does it does at own risks. if you don´t like it, dont´t ride it. really wish the best for you.
now, if you don´t have the balls, take your fucking coffesofawhatevryoucallthatbikeofyours and take your sunday morning ride till you lose your fat ass and then try riding a fixie…

i cry for 2 reasons:

1. if i love the person and they don’t give a fuck about me

ughh. I’m tired of seeing people hate her for the wrong reasons. She’s more original than YOU are (creator of this blog). She’s not portraying herself as Freddie Mercury, Ziggy Stardust, etc. She’s trying to be (I mean succeeding at) space age, innovative, and original and it’s obviously working with her having one of the largest fan bases in the world. She creates everything from the music to the back up dancer’s costumes, so if you think you could do what she does then go live in Hollywood til you get your break like she did.. but really?? In 100 years she’s gonna be remembered while your gonna be forgotten after your inbred kids are dead.. so get over yourself.
