When Gaga started off, she was very quirky (which I liked) but after The Fame Monster she’s gone a bit OTT.

I hate how she’s saying she’s “all for self expression and loving who you are, being yourself, don’t change to fit in because you should be accepted for who you are” etc. This is a nice message, and I agree, but SHE’S the one dressing up in ridiculous costumes, dyeing her hair peroxide blonde, hiding behind shitloads of makeup (I heard her outfits are chosen for her. So it’s not even her choice – so much for “being yourself” eh?). A bit contradictory, if you ask me?

Secondly, she is NOT original in any way. She’s not starting a revolution. She’s a rip-off of Bowie, Madonna, Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, etc. It annoys me how she thinks she’s being “original” when she really isn’t.

I think she’s terribly arrogant. I appreciate that she wants to put out a positive message by saying “Oh I was bullied, oh I was in a right state before I got where I am, oh I was on crack like 24/7 but look at me now.” Gaga grew up in a wealthy family in East NYC so I don’t see why she has to act like she had a terrible past. She was a privileged child and I don’t see the need to hide that.

Thirdly, her videos are not in any way “revolutionary” or “original” or “spectacular”. Yes, they have a high budget and loads of crazy costumes, but look at videos like Britney’s “Stronger.” All she needed was a chair! Some of Gaga’s videos are not particularly original – here’s my proof:

The stripy outfits, jail plot, the car with the featuring artist as the driver. All looks very similar to me.

Religious imagery, major controversy, chapels, etc etc.

Anyway, there you have my argument. I don’t hate her guts, I’m sure she’s a nice person, I think she can sing and write okay songs, but I don’t think she should be acting all arrogant and “OOH I’m so original and cool and different” when really… no. Just no.

The goal on a bike is to not stop and get where you are going fast. So I run lights and stop signs when I can, and stop only when I have to. But I know that bike VS car, the bike will lose every time. I won’t punch someone’s car just because they got in my way by obeying a traffic signal. That’s a real asshole move.

Fixiephiles generally are douches and take themselves way too seriously. Mongrel color-schemed bikes with 100 dollar leather saddles and cut off black jean shorts and key rings. Just like the other million fixiephiles.

If anyone tried reaching into my car to remove my keys from the ignition, they are losing that arm and that is a fucking promise. Window up, gas pedal down. Sorry, officer, he said he was gonna kill me and reached right through my window! I might do a little time, sure, but oh so worth it.
