Let me start by saying, I love Bill Cosby. I have watched and enjoyed every Cosby Show ever made. Nick at Night / TV Land is airing episodes (currently) and every-once in a while I will partake in an episode. My problem is not with Bill, but with his egotistical doctor character Heathcliff Huxtable.

Heathcliff AKA Cliff is a doctor and he wont let you forget it. Everyone on the show (except his wife and children) call him Dr. Huxtable. His neighbors, his friends, his mechanic, his son-in-law(s), his children’s friends and even his daughters adopted child MUST CALL HIM DOCTOR HUXTABLE.

I understand you went to school to be a doctor, but that is apart of your professional life. Why must you enforce the world to refer to you as doctor in your everyday casual life? When your not in the office why is the grocer calling you Dr. Huxtable? Even when your wearing one of your many sweaters people still refer to you as Dr. Huxtable. We get it… your a Doctor, that is a great accomplishment but why cram is down everyones throat. I think this is egotistical and uncalled for.

I first noticed this when Rudy (Keshia Knight Pulliam) had friends over. They would walk in the door and say something like “Hi Theo… Hi Dr. Huxtable…” uggh, just the thought makes my skin crawl. The worst occurrence is when Olivia (Raven-Symoné) who at the time was like 5 years old referred to Cliff as Dr. Huxtable. Not Grandpa, not Papa but Dr. Huxtable. You self righteous egotistical ninny, this is a child. Put aside your ego and just let everyone call you by your name or nick name but not your job title

Cliff Huxtable the constant reminder that your a doctor is annoying … You Have Been Dismissed.

Stop eating tacos:

No, I would like to take this a step further and dismiss Bill Cosby aka, ruiner of my childhood. You see, Papa tacos was a huge fan of Bill Cosby and occasionally when in angry dad mode would draw from his stand up comedies to bring a point home. Unfortunatly, Papa tacos did not get the memo that 7 year olds don’t quite grasp the wit of the elder Cosby. If you are familiar with his standup, you know what I am referring to. The line is “I brought you into this world, I can take you out” which in context is hillarious, out of context, 7 year old tacos thinks nam vet killing machine papa tacos is serrious.

Bill Cosby, you are a bad influence…You are dismissed.
