I know a lot of you will read this and look at me and leave me comments saying, What the Fuck? …well to start off this dismissal, I am going to counteract your question with my own What The Fuck: Wall-E? Now, I understand the charm and the love for disney movies. Aladdin is awesome, so is Jungle Book, and who can forget the first Pirates Of The Caribbean? Amazing.

I am currently on an airplane watching Wall-E for the very first time. I am not sure if I am writing this because I am bored on airplane or because Wall-E disgusts me. The only saving grace for this film is in the beginning when Fred Willard makes a cameo. Wall-E is a cute little guy, however this movie is so confusing. I enjoy silent films, foreign films, and other animated films.  I went to film school and still appreciate stupid movies like Dude Wheres My Car. But an hour and a half of my life was just wasted on a robot who doesn’t talk and only beeps and grunts.

Disney has been churning out garbage left and right for past couple years, i.e., Beverly Hills Chihuahua. I haven’t seen it yet, but I can imagine how terrible it is. I own a chihuahua myself, and I love the little sucker, but we do not need another talking dog movie. There are too many already.

Disney movies are dismissed for another reason: they’re capitalizing on sequels for films that deserve no sequel. Which, of course, all go straight to DVD. I am appalled at remakes of classic movies like Cinderella and Peter Pan. There is now a Tinkerbell straight to DVD release about how Tinkerbell has her own life. I won’t be impressed unless she is doing blow off some fairy’s wiener, her nose bleeds, and she needs a shot of adrenaline to the heart to survive.
